Flytouch 4 Adds Multi-Touch, Built-in 3g, Crushes Zenithink E98 ZT-180 III

PRLog (Press Release)– Jul 31, 2011– Earlier this month, the iBex Flytouch3 with built-in 3g a.k.a. Fly touch 4, Flytouch4 was released.  For 3g W-CDMA broadband users this tablet is a dream come true. The older iBex Fly touch 3 had a RJ45 port in the place where the built-in 3g SIM card slot is now on the Fly Touch 4.

In addition, the Ft4 added an extra micro SD card slot (the iBex Flytouch 3 only had one card slot). This means that some could actually have a 4 gig tablet PC with an extra 64GB on board.

Some non-3g users have argued that what if you are not in an area with 3g? "Wouldn't this be inconvenient not having the RJ45 port?" Well, one thing they may be forgetting is that this Fly Touch IV has WIFI as well.

Other's note, "Who needs 64 gigs of memory?" Well, nobody asks that about the iPhone or iPad 2. It is not about have the 64gb's but the option to expand the memory if you wish.  Just think about being on road trips or vacation and wanting to pack all of your favorite movies and music onto your tablet before leaving home.

While doing a google search for "iBex Flytouch 4" I ran into this forum post on www.apad.tv:

Very sinister Dart16 rebuts:

"IMHO 32GB is a stupendous amount of storage space for an Android Tablet let alone 64GB, especially when there is the possibility of using a USB flash drive/external USD HD best rc helicopter buy sell market place D, whereas only one USB is a serious limitation....and the loss of the RJ45 is also a big problem for anyone who needs one for connection to a corporate LAN. Many companies don't allow wifi connections.

I have to agree with you there dart.

My tablet has the 'standard' 4Gb SD Card and I have an 8Gb SD Card in the only slot [8Gb is the smallest size I buy] I have hardly touched the internal storage and, despite having a fair few technical manuals on the external SD Card, it is still about 93% empty. But, then again, my fi remote control helicopter rst PC had the larger 10Mb hard disk [yes, 10 Mega bytes] and I couldn't envisage filling that up 28 years ago...

We have yet to get our hands on a multi-touch Flytouch4. We have seen that the firmware is "YOSpad" and we hear that IBEX is working on getting a custom ROM built for the Fly Touch IV series tablets (in the event YOSpad is not compatible with a Tim's ROM upgrade).

I think the IBEX Flytouch 4 will revolutionize the way Chinese iPad wannabe Tablet PC's aka Epad, Apad, China iPad will be perceived. Will no memory limitations, capacitve touch screens, Bluetooth, built-in Gps Navigator, and android 2.2.

In my opinion the iBex Flytouch 3 utterly crushed the Zenithink ZT-180-2 android 2.2 tablet without GPS, 32gb version, or custom ROM upgrades.

This Mult-touch Flytouch 3 will crush Zenithink's latest less than impressive release of the ZT-180 E98 Epad. People at Zenithink need to wake up and smell the coffee. Their software is still really buggy and adding an A9 CPU was nice but with better optimized software the X220 X200 1GHz CPU should be enough. Not to mention the E98 only has an 8-inch screen, compared to the IBEX Fly Touch 4's 10.2" Screen.
