Apple seems to agree. The app got the "App of the Week" spot in both countries, and the developers (Cynapse, based out of Mumbai) couldn't be more thrilled. It's the icing on the cake after months spent perfecting their creation.
LocalScope puts an intuitive twist on GPS, pulling search results together to give users a handy overview of what's available right next door. With a few swipes and flicks, you can use Google, Bing, Foursquare, and Twitter results to find restaurants, gas stations, hotels, gyms, and everything else in your local area.
College students who have just moved to a new town are likely to get a lot of use out of LocalScope. Those first few months can be a bit disorienting. It's nice to have a crisp and clean picture of where everything is, especially when you're in an unfamiliar place.
